INFINITY.
Exhibition Installation
Second Floor
Is the second interior exhibition space that utilizes a 360 view of different screens. Where users can get lost within the space and forget about their surroundings. They can feel vulnerable within the overwhelming information as well as a lightness as they walk through the space. The space creates an illusion of a never ending fantasy-scape that invokes creativity and thought.

On the exterior a metalic paint covers the entire structure casting a reflection of the interior and again disorientating the  users.

PROCESS
My original design was a simple infinity room that did not account for accessibility or it's relation to the site. I wanted the exhibition to be accessible for everyone so adding the ramp was necessary for the design to succeed. The form of the space was kept as the original coal handling equipment but I needed to use a materiality on the exterior that would blend all my previous design ideas from the other spaces.

The result was to use a reflective paint that would not harm the heritage-protected site but allow the form to be seen.
